Christmas is fast approaching so I have been spending lots of time lately shopping and thinking about the best gifts for the people on my list. I spend a lot of time traveling so I thought I would put together a list of my favorite gifts for travelers.
My criteria for travel gear is that the item must be lightweight and well made. And these gifts would be good for any occasion, not just Christmas. Here are my 5 favorites in no particular order:
If I had to pick my most useful travel item right now I would have to pick packing cubes. I like them because you can use them to pack more items in a smaller space. But I also like them just to keep my suitcase organized. Either way they would make a great gift for travelers.
This magazine is currently one of my favorite travel magazines, and at only $8 for 4 issues it’s definitely a bargain!
I came upon this brilliant item as I was searching for Christmas presents to buy. This luggage hugger would be a great gift for travelers. I’m really hoping someone buys it for me . . . if not I will have to get it for myself! How many times have I stood watching for my suitcase at the airport as dozens of black bags go by.
I love to read and travel so I often find myself reading about travel. I found the New York Times 36 Hours: 150 Weekends in the US and Canada and thought this would be a perfect gift for someone I know (and me).
I always travel with a scarf unless it is really hot. So I thought a scarf with a hidden pocket was a great idea. And cute too!
Do you have a favorite travel gift you like to give? Or that you have? I would love to hear any great ideas you have. Please leave me a comment! Thanks!!!
